"Entropy:Boccadasse" est une photovidéographie, une photographie qui se transforme dans le temps pour changer de statut et devenir une oeuvre d'art vidéo. Ce petit village d'Italie, sujet à l'entropie comme tout ce qui existe, passe par différentes étapes esthétiques pour finir par disparaître. De prime abord, "Entropy:Boccadasse" rappelle une carte postale, l’image du village au bord de mer est idéale. Mais rapidement, de grands traits viennent cerner les formes oscillantes de l’architecture qui se dissout, pixel après pixel, dans un grand tout semblable à un œil qui nous regarde. L’entropie joue ici par le passage d’une trace dans laquelle le spectateur trouve ses repères, croyant reconnaître un tableau d’Egon Schiele ou une toile impressionniste, pour s’achever dans une forme inquiétante, lisse et insaisissable, résultant du mouvement des pixels qui se sont assemblés selon leur couleur. "Entropy:Boccadasse" is a photovideography, a photograph that evolves over time to change status and become a video artwork. This small Italian village, subject to entropy like everything else, goes through different aesthetic stages to finally disappear. At first glance, "Entropy:Boccadasse" looks like a postcard, the image of the village by the sea is ideal. But quickly, large lines come to encircle the oscillating forms of the architecture which dissolves, pixel after pixel, in a large whole similar to an eye which looks at us. Entropy plays here by the passage of a trace in which the spectator finds his bearings, believing to recognize a painting by Egon Schiele or an impressionist canvas, to end in a disturbing, smooth and elusive form, resulting from the movement of pixels that have assembled according to their color.
