"Traces:Ski" utilise la vidéo trouvée sur Internet de la descente de Jung Donghyun aux JO de 2018. Les transformations opérées sur les couleurs et la vitesse détournent cette vidéo documentaire en œuvre d'art vidéo abstraite. Certaines teintes sont effacées pour autoriser des traces persistantes laissées par d'autres couleurs. Le skieur n'évolue plus sur une piste de ski ordinaire mais dans un chaos de structures mouvantes créé à partir des mouvements de la caméra. La bande son a été un critère dans le choix du matériau initial : en l'absence de voix off, les sons naturels de la descente, ralentis à la même vitesse que l'image et enrichis par plusieurs effets, contribuent à l'esthétique de ce détournement. "Traces:Ski" uses the video found on the Internet of Jung Donghyun's run at the 2018 Olympics. Transformations operated on colors and speed hijack this documentary video to turn it into an abstract video artwork. Some shades are erased to allow persistent traces left by other colors. The skier no longer evolves on an ordinary ski slope but in a chaos of moving structures created from the movements of the camera. The soundtrack was a criterion in the choice of the initial material: in the absence of voice-over, the natural sounds of the descent, slowed down at the same speed as the image and enriched by several effects, contribute to the aesthetics of this détournement.
